The Journalists' Charity

Grants are available for current and former journalists and their dependents who are in financial need. Applicants should have at least two years of experience of journalism.

Applicants should also be a UK or Eire citizens or have worked as a journalist in these countries for at least two years.

Often a small amount of financial aid at a critical time can improve the quality of life. The fund might be given to help to buy a washing machine, pay for a funeral, a bill, replacing a wheelchair, or it could be a small regular grant.
