Grants for people in need who have lived in Market Harborough, Great Bowden and Little Bowden for at least six months.

Who is eligible?

People in need who have lived in Market Harborough, Great Bowden and Little Bowden for at least six months. 

Applicants must have exhausted all other areas of assistance before applying to the Charity, such as welfare benefits, a Budgeting Loan or Maternity Grant.

 

How to apply?

A third party, such as Citizens Advice, should apply on behalf of an individual. If an individual applies directly, their application should still be supported by a third party. 

The charity only considers one application per household in a 12 month period. 

Other information

The charity also runs almshouses. People aged 60, currently living in Market Harborough, or having a longstanding and genuine connection with the town, having a genuine need to be resident within Market Harborough and are in financial need. 

The Almshouses are designed for independent living and have no warden control facilities on site.
