The Micklegate York Charitable Trust

The Micklegate York Charitable Trust helps people resident in the parish of Holy Trinity, Micklegate, York, who are in need, hardship or distress.

In exceptional cases, the Trustees may assist residents who live outside or are temporarily resident in the area of benefit.

The grants are small and are given for purposes depending on the needs of each person wanting help.

Grants are not given to help with bankruptcy or school fees.

People resident in the parish of Holy Trinity, Micklegate, York, who are in need, hardship or distress.

Individuals/family members can apply directly or organisations can apply on behalf of individuals in need. 

An application form is also available.

Application process

The Trustees make decisions about funding four times a year.

Grant requests take about 1-2 months to process on average.

The Charity replies to all applicants, whether or not it can help.
