Girls and women (under 40) who are in need and permanently live in Coventry or Leamington Spa. 

Provides items for essential items, such as clothing, single beds and bedding and carpets for the lounge or bedroom. Grants may also be given for educational purposes.

Who is eligible?

Girls and women (under 40) who are in need and permanently live in Coventry or Leamington Spa.

We do not give grants for:
  • repaying loans that are from purchasing non-essential items. 
  • rent/community charge arrears except in exceptional circumstances.
  • arrears or utility bills
  • private school fees
  • Grants are not normally for holidays unless there is special need.

You can apply for 3 grants but they must be 12 months apart.

You can apply for a grant three times but you cannot apply more than one grant in the space of a year.

Applications are accepted from individuals or third parties, e.g. social services, health worker, child's teacher.

If you are applying as an individual you must include a letter of reference from professional, for example a social worker, health worker or a child's teacher.

The charity considers applications eight times a year.
