Grants available to nurses, midwives, community public health nurses who are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and hospital attendants to help with the cost of course fees.

Who is eligible?

Grants available to nurses, midwives, community public health nurses who are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and hospital attendants to help with the cost of course fees. To be eligible you need to:

  • Be employed
  • Have a valid NMC pin
  • Have been accepted onto your course at the time of application and when grants are given for course fees.

Please note that we are unable to offer support for living expenses.

How to apply?

Please apply BEFORE your course starts. If you are applying after your course start date, state the modules you are requesting funding towards, which have start dates after your application submission date.

Email your completed application form along with your CV and two references. Read the "Grant application notes" for more information on how to apply. The Council meets three times a year to consider applications; in March July and November. Applications should be submitted 2 months before the meeting. Please note that grants are paid directly to the institution providing the course, and not to the applicant.
