Who is eligible?

You may be able to apply if you are in financial need and have lived in the City of Newcastle upon Tyne for at least 12 months.

Only one grant will be given to an applicant in any 12 month period.

What we can't help with

  • Education or training
  • Repaying debts or arrears, such as Council tax arrears
  • Day to day living expenses, such as food

How to apply?

Individuals should not apply directly. Instead, an intermediary, such as a social worker or welfare agency, such as Citizens Advice, should apply on their behalf. Contact the charity for an application form.

Applications are considered monthly.

The charity does not contact unsuccessful applications, so if you have not heard from the charity within 4 - 6 weeks of submitting the application, you have not been successful.
