The Nurses Memorial to King Edward VII in Scotland Scottish Committee

Grants for nurses or midwives who have a strong connection to Scotland who need financial assistance. By a strong connection, we mean nurses who have worked in Scotland, or Scottish nurses working outside Scotland. Retired nurses are given priority.

The charity helps those in need by way of gifts for

  • heating
  • support payments
  • equipment
  • one off payments
  • help with further education or training for qualified nurses

Who is eligible?

You are a nurse or midwife in Scotland or with a strong Scottish connection, and

  • You are aged or retired or suffering from illness or disability or suffering from financial hardship


  • You are looking for help with your further education or training now you are qualified.

How to apply?

There is a form on the Nurses Memorial to King Edward VII in Scotland Scottish Committee website which you can fill in and send off. The charity will then send you a full application form.
