The Peter Greenwood Memorial Trust for Deaf People

Grants for deaf and hearing-impaired students who are permanent residents of the United Kingdom and who already studying, or are about to study, at college, university or on a training course in the UK.

Normally, a grant would be used to buy books and equipment needed for a person’s studies or training. Sometimes a grant may be offered to help with travel or accommodation expenses related to a person’s studies or training. Those who have received our support in the past have successfully gone on to achieve technical qualifications, teaching and counselling certificates, diplomas, BA, BSc and Masters degrees and other qualifications.

Who is eligible?

Deaf and hearing-impaired students (aged 16 and over) who are permanent residents of the UK and are already studying, or are about to study, at college, university or on a training course.

How to apply?

Applicants need to give details about the person who will sponsor the application, for example a professional person who knows you, such as a lecturer, teacher, social worker or doctor. A sponsor cannot be a member of your family or a friend.
