The Prestbury Charity (also known as The Prestbury United Charities)

Grants for people who are in financial difficulties and who live in the ecclesiastical parish of Prestbury, Gloucestershire or the adjacent parishes of Southam and Swindon Village, or the immediately surrounding areas. People of all ages can apply. 

Grants are for essential items, such as white goods and to help with heating costs.

Who is eligible?

People who cannot afford to buy essential items who live in the ecclesiastical parish of Prestbury, Gloucestershire or the adjacent parishes of Southam and Swindon Village, or the immediately surrounding areas. 

What we can't help with

We cannot give grants for items which would normally be provided by statutory bodies, such as the local council. 

How to apply?

Individuals can apply directly or a third party, such as social services, can apply on their behalf. If an individual applies directly, the application should still be supported by a third party. Download an application form from the Prestbury Charity website

Please print, complete and return the application form to the address below. 

Applications are considered all year round.
