The Printing Charity

We invite all to apply who have genuine financial need and work or have worked in the printing, packaging and paper industry or allied trades for at least three years or who have a direct family connection (parents/children).

Who is eligible?

Grants for people in need and work or have worked in the printing, packaging and paper industry or allied trades for at least three years or who have a direct family connection (parents/children).

The charity can help with items such as:

  • white goods
  • home adaptations
  • mobility and visual aids
  • respite care
  • bereavement

What we can't help with

We can't give grants for to pay off debts or for school fees, or undergraduate or postgraduate fees.

How to apply?

Call or email the charity, or download an application from The Printing Charity website

There are guidance notes on how to complete the application form, but if you have any questions please call the charity and they will be happy to you through the information they need.

All applicants are required to provide supporting documentation. This may include Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) correspondence, pay slips, bank statements and any other relevant information.

Ongoing financial support and top up fee support is reassessed twice a year.

Other information

The Printing Charity also provides signposting to expert services including debt management, wellbeing, and benefit advice.

The charity has two purpose built sheltered homes in Basildon and Bletchley in Bucks for those aged 60 or over and retired.
