The Public and Commercial Services Union Benevolent Fund

Grants are available for members and Associate members of the Public and Commercial Union who are in financial need. Grants are limited to £500 in any 12-month period.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible you must have been a member for at least 6 months, or an associate member, and be in severe financial need. 

Grants are not given for:

  • Assistance with credit cards
  • Private debts and medical treatment
  • Education and legal costs
  • Strike action (members should contact their branch)
  • Where there are savings, or significant non-essential expenditure
  • Loans
