The Sarum St Michael Educational Charity

The charity gives grants to sixth form students who want to become Religious Education teachers.

Grants are also given to R.E. teachers who have completed their PGCE (or equivalent) and completed their Newly Qualified Teacher induction. Teachers need to mostly teach R.E. at a primary or secondary school.

Applicants must live within the Diocese of Salisbury and all of the adjacent dioceses (Bath & Wells, Bristol, Exeter, Oxford and Winchester). Visit the map on the Church of England's website to find out if you live in one of these areas.
