The Spittal Trust

Grants are available for people in need (because of age, ill health or reduced circumstances), who have lived in Alloa, Scotland, for at least 10 years immediately before the application is made.

All applications will be considered but due to lack of funds, assistance is mainly given for essential household goods, such as electric cooker, washing machine, fridge, beds and bedding, etc.

Who is eligible?

People in need (because of age, ill health or reduced circumstances), who have lived in Alloa for at least 10 years immediately before applying to the Trust.

How to apply?

To be able to apply to this Trust, you need to have first applied to the Scottish Welfare Fund, including T1 Review and T2 Review to Scottish Public Ombudsman Service (SPSO). If you haven't applied to the Scottish Welfare Fund yet, read Turn2us' information on how to apply.

Application forms are available:

Trustees meet quarterly, usually in March, June, September and December.
