The Talisman Charitable Trust

We help individuals in the UK who are on a low income and are “going short". Grants are generally given to support education, health, housing, disablement or disability.

Individuals should not apply directly. Instead, applications should be made on behalf of individuals by a local authority, another charity or a non-profit organisation, such as the Citizens’ Advice Bureau.

The charity is run by a small number of people and has a small fund.

Who is eligible?

We help individuals who are on a low income and are going short. Grants are generally given to support education, health, housing, disablement or disability.

How to apply?

Individuals should not apply directly. Instead, applications should be made on behalf of individuals by a local authority, another charitable organisation or a non-profit organisation such as the Citizens Advice Bureau. You can read more about how to apply on The Talisman Charitable Trust's website

Unfortunately the Trust only responds to successful applicants. The Trust usually gives a grant 4 weeks after receiving an application. If you have not heard back within this time frame, then unfortunately your application will have been unsuccessful.
