The Ted Adams Trust Limited

The Trust gives grants to post registration nurses and midwives in the Guildford area for educational or professional development purposes.

The Trust also gives scholarships to mature student nurses (aged 25 and over) who want to study Adult or Mental Health Nursing at the University of Surrey. 

Examples of what the Trust can help with:

  • In house training events and lectures

  • Cost of courses leading to specialist qualifications

  • Attendance at conferences and study days

The Trustees are unable to make grants for living expenses, child care or debts.

Who is eligible?

Post registration nurses and midwives who are working in the Guildford area.

We are particularly keen to fund individuals where the outcomes of their course / study will enhance patient care in the local area.

The Trust also gives scholarships to mature student nurses (aged 25 and over) who want to study Adult or Mental Health Nursing at the University of Surrey. To be able to apply, student nurses must have lived in Guildford for at least three years.
