The Vegetarian Charity

Vegetarians and vegans aged below 26 who need financial assistance, such as help with educational courses or essential items. Parents can apply on behalf of vegetarian children. Grants are not usually greater than £500.

Grants are also considered for organisations, but only if the project exclusively helps vegetarians and/or vegans under the age of 26.

Who is eligible?

Vegetarians and vegans aged under 26 who need financial assistance.

You do not have to be a student.

You do not have to live in the UK or be a UK citizen, but you must have a UK bank account.

Parents may make applications on behalf of vegetarian children.

Organisations can apply for grants, but only if their projects work exclusively with or for vegetarians/vegans under the age of 26. We cannot give grants to organisations that are planning events or activities that promote vegetarianism (or veganism) to a wider audience. Grants must exclusively benefit young vegetarians/vegans.



How to apply?

Visit the Vegetarian Charity website to obtain a grant application form. Complete the form and use the application portal on the Vegetarian Charity's website to upload the completed form along with essential supporting documents including CV, bank statements and covering letter.
