The Victor Mann Trust

Financial assistance to older residents aged 60 and over who live within the postcode area of NE 28 in North Tyneside and are on low incomes. 

The Trust gives one-off grants to help with the costs of items such as medical and disability equipment, washing machines and carpets. 

Please note that the Trust does not help with general living expenses or ongoing costs. The charity does not give grants to relieve debt.

Who is eligible?

People aged 60 and over who live within the postcode area of NE 28 in North Tyneside and are on low incomes. 

How to apply?

Write to or email Madeline Nolan, Secretary, with details about your situation and the specific item that you need a grant for. 

Applications are considered four times a year, in March, June, September and December.

Other information

The Trust also gives grant to groups that support older people in the area. For example, the Trust gives grants for groups to go on day trips, and Christmas grants for residents in local sheltered housing and care homes. Contact the Trust for more information.
