The Victoria Convalescent Trust

The charity helps to fund short breaks for people, of any age, who need convalescence, recuperative care or respite care, including carers, who live in England or Wales.

The Trust also sometimes gives grants for essential items to people who have a severe and enduring disability, physical or mental illness and to carers. Due to the high level of demand, it is unlikely that the trust will be able to offer assistance to anyone who doesn't meet these criteria.

Applications can only be made by a professional such as a social worker, health care worker or someone from Citizens Advice.
