Who is eligible?

People who live in the Birmingham area, the County of Warwickshire or the surrounding counties and need help to buy essential items. The Trust considers applications from people of all ages, but gives priority to children and older people.

The Trust sometimes makes grants to students who face special challenges in furthering their education. For example, the student might have a physical disability or have lived through particularly difficult circumstances.

Unfortunately the Trust can't help to pay off debts.

How to apply?

Individuals should not apply directly. Instead, a professional, such as a social worker, should contact the Trust to ask for the guidance notes on how to apply. The professional should send the completed application by post.

The Trustees consider applications twice a month.

The majority of grants for individuals are between £50 to £200.
