The William Williams Charity - Education Grants

Students who live in the three towns of Blandford (postcode area DT11 7 only), Shaftesbury (post code area DT10 1 & some locations in DT10 2) or Sturminster Newton (post code area SP7 8).  

There is a preference for supporting students who have lived in one of the towns for at least a year.

The Charity considers applications to help with:

  • Apprenticeships
  • Students aged 16-19 entering further education outside of their home town, whilst living within the areas above, to assist with transport, equipment or similar
  • Undergraduate degrees
  • Some Masters or Post-graduate degrees (but not for second undergraduate degrees
  • Student Nurses
  • Mature students

Students whose parental/household annual income exceeds £40,000 net per annum will not generally be considered eligible.
