The Trust gives grants to help with the extra costs of illnesses or disabilities. We usually give one-off grants for a particular purpose, for example for white goods, equipment, or travel expenses. 

Grants are also available to help students or people seeking employment.

Who is eligible?

People in need who live in the Winchester Rural District. This includes the parishes of Bighton, Bramdean, Compton, Headbourne Worthy and Abbot's Barton, Hursley, Itchen Valley, King's Worthy, Micheldever, Old Alresford, Owslebury, Sparsholt, Twyford, Wonston, Beauworth, Bishop's Sutton, Cheriton, Chilcomb, Crawley, Itchen Stoke and Ovington, Kilmeston, Littleton, New Alresford, Northington, Oliver's Battery and Tichborne. It does not include the city of Winchester.

Priority is given to individuals with an illness or disability, students and people seeking employment.

Please note: the Trust can't help with anything that is available from public funds.
