The WRNS Benevolent Trust

The Trust gives grants to former Wrens or female serving members of the Royal Navy who joined the Service between 1st September 1939 and 1st November 1993.

The Trust can help with a variety of needs, such as:

  • Priority debts and arrears

  • Education, such as books and training courses

  • Funeral expenses

  • Household goods and repairs

  • Medical aids

Who is eligible?

Former Wrens or female serving members of the Royal Navy who joined the Service between 1st September 1939 and 1st November 1993.

How to apply?

Contact the Trust directly for more information. The Trust is very small so usually passes the application onto SSAFA, The Armed Forces Charity, or The Royal British Legion.
