United Utilities Trust Fund

One-off payments for water charges to United Utilities Water for people in need who live in the area supplied by United Utilities Water (predominantly the north west of England.) In certain cases, the charity can also consider giving some help to purchase household items. Only one item per applicant.

Who is eligible?

People in need who live in the area supplied by United Utilities Water (predominantly the north west of England).

What we can't help with

  • Court Fines, Catalogue debts, credit cards, personal loans or other forms of borrowing
  • Social Fund Loans/Benefit Overpayments/Tax Credit overpayments now being reclaimed.
  • The Trust cannot give you a loan or give help with bills you have already paid or items that you have already bought.

How to apply?

Individuals can apply directly or a third party can apply on their behalf. Visit the website for more information: http://www.uutf.org.uk. Application forms and full guidelines are available on the website.

You can submit an application online at www.applyuu.org.uk

If you are successful you cannot apply again. We will advise you of our decision. If your application is unsuccessful you can apply again in six months. If we are unable to help you with either kind of payment, we will write to you.
