Visual Impairment Breconshire

Visual Impairment Breconshire offers grants and bursaries to people who have permanent non-correctable vision impairment and live in Breconshire. The charity helps pay for equipment, education, services, training and experiences (such as holidays).

Who is eligible?

Blind and partially-sighted people who live in Brecknock and need financial assistance. Applicants must be in receive of all welfare benefits that they are entitled to.

Please note: No grants for anything that would normally be provided by the NHS or Local Authority (including schools, colleges and social services).

How to apply?

The impaired person, their families, carers or relevant professional can make an application. The trustees meet about six times a year to plan activities and decide on grant applications.
