Weybridge Charity

Weybridge Charity can help people in emergency financial difficulties, who need help to get an essential item such as furniture, a carpet, a kitchen appliance, or a buggy. The charity also gives Christmas grants to local people.

Any application for emergency aid must be recommended to the Charity by an approved agent, such as your Health Visitor, Home-Start Elmbridge, Weybridge Children’s Centre, Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), etc.

Who is eligible?

People in need who live in Weybridge in Surrey.

Please note:

  • The Charity does not accept any applications for credit-card or other debt relief. 
  • All emergency aid applications have to be recommended in writing by the Health Visitor, CAB or another approved agent. 
  • Direct requests by applicants are not considered.

How to apply?

Emergency grants: Any application for emergency aid must be recommended to the Charity by an approved agent, such as your Health Visitor, Home-Start Elmbridge, Weybridge Children’s Centre, Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), local church etc. They will need to write a short letter of support and send it to the postal address below. 

Christmas grants: Application forms for these grants are available from the Weybridge Centre and Public Library every September and October. Completed forms need to be returned by the end of October and payments are made by cheque in December.
