Young Women's Trust

Young Women's Trust supports young women aged 18-30, especially those struggling to live on low or no pay, to get into work that is right for them.

We have a service called the Employment Support Fund. The fund allows young women to apply to get items that can help them improve their work situation.

Items that can be applied for include:

  • Technology: like a laptop, a tablet or some software
  • Clothes: for interviews or looking smart at work
  • Training: for example a course or workshop
  • Tools: for example, brushes and scissors if you are a hairdresser
  • Driving lessons
  • Transport: for getting to interviews

The Employment Support Fund does not offer money. If your application is successful, Young Women's Trust buys the items requested in the application. The value of the items must be under £500.

*Applications open on Monday 2 September and close at 1pm on Monday 14 October.*
